Measure and mark^1 ⁄ 8 " to the right
of the top center seam. Measure
and mark^1 ⁄ 8 " to right of lower right
seam. Using a rotary cutter and
ruler, cut a straight line from lower
mark to upper mark. In the same
way, measure and cut unit 2. Join
units as shown to create section 1.
Using the same technique, make
1 each of sections 2–6 using units
shown.

Assembling the Quilt
Center
Refer to the Assembly Diagram.
Sew patches, units, and sections
together as shown to make a row.
Make 13 rows. Join rows to com-
plete quilt top.

Quilting and Finishing
Layer and baste together the
backing, batting, and quilt top.
Refer to the quilting placement dia-
gram. Quilt a switchback in a
diamond pattern over the quilt
surface.
Bind the quilt.
