Making the Units, Sections,
and Blocks
Sew a white strip and a lime strip
together to make a band. Make


13 bands. Cut the bands at 1^3 ⁄ 4 "
increments to make 300 unit 1’s
total.


Sew awhitestripand a red multi-
color strip together to make a band.
Make 9 bands. Cut the bands at 1^3 ⁄ 4 "
increments to make 200 unit 2’s
total.


Sew 2 unit 1’s together as shown
to make a Four-Patch 1. Make
150 Four-Patch 1’s total.

Sew 2 unit 2’s together as shown
to make a Four-Patch 2. Make
100 Four-Patch 2’s total.

Join 2 whiteA’s,1 tealB,and
10 Four Patches 1’s together to
make block Q. Make 5 block Q’s
total.
