For the past six issues we have shared some exciting
armchair travels with you. In this issue we will share some
photos of the ‘real’ travels that our readers have enjoyed with
Michelle Marvig and Chris Jurd in the past 12 months.
Quilters Companion has offered some thrilling patchwork
tours to countries around the world. Organised by Travelrite
Australia, the itineraries have been carefully planned by
quilters for quilters to take in some of the best quilty and
textile experiences the world has to offer.
In almost all cases, tours are designed to take in a major
quilt show or event, with other exciting destinations added
in – such as museums, shops, manufacturers, as well as
significant experiences in local destinations.
Michelle says, “Our fellow travellers are like-minded and over
the days and weeks they form new friendships while they
share their enthusiasm and excitement.”
