Chicago, Shipshewana, Houston
There were so many highlights on this fantastic
tour, including Frank Lloyd Wright’s home and
studio in Oak Park, Mennonite Amish visitor centre,
the charming town of Shipshewana, the Quilters
Hall of Fame, Missouri Star Quilt Co and the
Texas Quilt Museum, and last but not least, the
International Quilt Festival in Houston.
We had such a wonderful
bunch of travellers
Housed in an historic 1895 building in
La Grange’s town square, the recently
opened Texas Quilt Museum had so
many beautiful and historic quilts
We shopped at hundreds of great exhibitor
booths at the International Quilt Festival,
Houston. There were heaps of quilts, classes
and lectures, and a ton of quilty fun on offer149
