Finished result
When you’ve finished, you’ll have something that
resembles my version here, although it will look
a little different depending on which lens you use. To get
started, attach it to your camera mount and go into Manual
mode, then enter a shutter speed of 1/100 sec and an ISO
of 400 to begin with. Look through the viewfinder or on the
LCD and move the lens around until you find the sweet spot,
where your subject is in sharp focus but everything else is
blurred, and take the picture. If it’s too dark, boost the ISO
a little; if it’s too bright, increase the shutter speed and
take another picture until the exposure is spot-on.

Jubilee clip
Pull the section of bicycle inner tube over
your T2 adapter, then pull the other end
of the tube over the exposed inner lens barrel. This
might be a bit tricky, but should be a very tight fit
when done correctly. Then grab a small jubilee clip
to stop the rubber tube slipping off the inner lens
barrel. Be careful when tightening the clip with a
screwdriver: you don’t want to overdo it, otherwise
you could crush the lens barrel and the glass inside.

Hit the road
You’ll use a bicycle inner tube to connect the
lens to the camera body to block out light
leaks. It prevents unwanted flare and gives
you the flexibility to perform lens yoga!
