Continental: For the 80th
anniversary of the Continental,
in 2019, Lincoln produced 80
special Continental Coach
Door Editions with a wheel-
base stretched six inches
and a set of suicide doors at
the back. All 80 were quickly
snatched up, so Lincoln is
making more for 2020. The
final number is TBD. The rear
passenger compartment
is more luxurious than a

standard Continental’s, with

two highly adjustable seats

and a fixed center console

that includes tray tables and

a tablet holder. Weighing 100

to 150 pounds more than

a regular Continental, this

all-wheel-drive special is fitted

with the 400-hp version of the

car’s twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6.

The price? Over $100,000.

Corsair: The replace-

ment for the MKC compact

crossover is new from the

ground up, name included, and

has a stylish look that aligns

it with the larger Aviator and

Navigator SUVs. The exterior

is sleek and handsome, with

ubiquitous design cues like a

“floating” roof and a full-width

taillight strip that reminds us

of Porsche’s latest treatment.

With a tiered dashboard

topped by an 8.0-inch touch-

screen and a range of available

active safety and tech

features, the Corsair’s interior

looks and feels much more

luxurious than that of the car it

replaces. It comes with either

a 2.0-liter or a 2.3-liter, just as

the MKC did; a new plug-in-

hybrid model will be available

after launch.
