WORTH A DETOUR...

DID YOU KNOW?
Glencoe is the site of a famous
massacre. On 13 February 1692,
around 30 members of the Clan
MacDonald of Glencoe were killed by
government soldiers who they had
played host to. The reason? They
were too slow in pledging
allegiance to King William
III of England.
