Research Technician


Work within the world-renowned William Harvey Research
Institute at Bart’s and The London Medical School, Queen Mary
University of London (QMUL). The position is within the Centre of
Endocrinology, which brings together a group of leading clinical and
non-clinical scientists researching the clinical, genetic, cellular and
molecular basis of endocrine diseases. The Centre is based within
the Charterhouse Square Campus of QMUL in the heart of City
of London.

The successful candidate will join the group of Professor Márta
Korbonits at the Centre for Endocrinology, William Harvey
Research Institute who’s research focuses on pituitary
tumorigenesis and the genetic aspects of endocrine tumours. You
will be investigating molecular mechanism related to familial
endocrine diseases, in particular diseases of the pituitary gland.

MSc Science Media Production

These courses are designed to help science and engineering
graduates develop the necessary skills and knowledge to
move into media and other science communication careers.
The Science Communication course is a general preparation
while the Science Media Production programme is designed

and Science Communication can be undertaken part-time
