Masters in Environmental Technology
Currently recruiting for October 2013
This world-leading Masters is an established route to a successful career in
environment and sustainability. The 1 year course provides the highest standard of
knowledge and skills development at one of the world’s leading universities.
Applicants come from a wide range of backgrounds including sciences, social
sciences, humanities and business.
The first term provides interdisciplinary training in environmental science,
economics, law, policy, and technology.
The second term is a choice of specialist options that meet your career aspirations.
Options include:


  • Ecological Management– natural resource conservation and management.
    Global in scope, problems are tackled in a way that can be tailored to local or
    regional conditions.

  • Pollution Management– focuses on interactions between environmental science,
    technology and policy. Local pollution issues are studied within their regional and
    global context.

  • Health and Global Environment – focuses on the relationships between
    environmental quality and human health.

  • Other available options include: Water Management, Global Environmental
    Change, Environmental Economics, Energy policy, Environmental Analysis,
    and Business.
    The final term is an individual research project that may include desk, field or
    laboratory research. Collaborating organisations have ranged from consultancies to
    the United Nations.
    Over 3,000+ students have graduated since 1977. Using this international alumni
    network, 85% of graduates find degree-related employment shortly after course
    completion.
