Row 1: Starting in 2nd ch from hook, dc

Row 4: 1 ch, sl st across. Fasten off.Making up
Place Wreath Cover over polystyrene ring,
using matching yarn sew sides of cover
by matching row for row on each colour
stripe, change yarn to match cover. It’s
a bit fiddly but the farther along you get,
the easier it becomes. Cont until ring is
covered, then neatly sew remaining edges.
Arrange the cover, making sure seam is on
back of piece. Sew Snowflakes to wreath
at random intervals (or use photo as a
guide) using tails. Gather base of Snowflake
Centres by threading tail through rem
sts and pulling tightly, sew to centre of
3 random Snowflakes. Insert safety eyes
into front of Head, snap on the backs by
putting your fingers inside the piece of
crochet. Add extra stuffing if needed. Sew
Head onto Body firmly. Stuff Nose lightly
and gather base of Nose tightly as for
Snowflake Centres, then attach to face.
With H, embroider mouth under Nose.
Weave in ends on Hats. Sew short ends of
Brim, then sew to outer rim of Hat. Make a
tiny pompom and attach to top of Hat. Sew
Hat onto Head. Wrap Scarf around neck and
secure with a few stitches. Sew Snowmen
firmly in place in bottom centre of wreath.
Lightly stuff each Snowball then gather
base as for Snowflake Centres and sew to
side of wreath to get a pleasing effect. Sew
Hanging Loop securely to top of wreath.
