(C trl+A)andEdit>Copy(C trl+C),thenhit Ctrl+Wto closeit down.
In theJanuarytemplate,hit Ctrl+Vto pastein yourimage.It will
sh owas a newlayerin theLayerspalette(Window>Layers).

ConstrainProportionsboxis checked.Clickanddragtheimage
until it sitsovertheblackapertureon thecalendartemplate,then
cl ickanddragthecornersto resizetheimageuntilit coversthe
ar ea.Clickthetickto setthechanges.2
Blendyourshot
with thetemplate
In the Layers palette,click
on the Blending Mode and choose
Screen from the list. This will hide
an y parts of your image that appear
against a white background, butretain
an y areas on a black background.
You may notice some overspill,
where your image is showing
through the text or date boxes.
To fix this, in the Layers palette
cl ick Add a mask, then select
th e Brush Tool (B). Set the
fo reground colour to blackand
Opacity to 100%, then paint
ov er any areas of the calendar
that you don’t want your image
