Customisethecolourfora uniquelook
Withyourimagein place,it’stimeto customiseyour
ca lendar. The colour of the calendar boxes can be
changed to complement your images. Click on the calendarlayer
in the Layers palette to make it active. Choose the Rectangular
Marquee Tool and click and drag to draw a selection around
th e date grid – do not include your image or the month title.
The selection will be marked by a series of marching ants.
Press Ctrl+U to bring up the
Hue/Saturation dialogue box.
Make sure the Colorize and
Preview boxes are ticked.Set
th e Saturation to 50 andslide
th e Hue slider. You will notice
the colour of the boxes
changing. Settle on a colour
of your choice, and clickOK
once you’re happy with it.

yo u have a full set of 12, then open
th e cover file. Follow the first two
st eps to apply your image to the
te mplate in the same way as before.
In the Layers palette, you will notice
th at the cover document is divided
into separate layers, each representing
a different text element. Click onthefirsttextlayerto activateit
and select the Text Tool (T). Placethecursoroverthetextand
double-click to activate the text box. Type to edit the text to
include your own details, changing the fonts and sizes to suit
the theme of your calendar. With the front cover complete, go to
Layer>Flatten Image and then File>Save As to save your calendar
ready for printing.
