Choose your shot from Luminar’s Library
Luminar’s Library automatically synchronises with your
folders, keeping your images up-to-date without having
to manually import them. Simply click the thumbnail to select.
Then click on the Edit tab in the top right to progress. Finally, click
Add Filter and choose RAW Develop under the Essential header.

Ensure you have the perfect exposure
With the RAW Develop Filter open, use the Exposure
slider to adjust overall brightness. The Highlight slider
will recover details in the brighter parts of the image, and Shadows
increases details in the darker parts. Clarity increases local contrast- great for adding drama.

Correct any lens distortions and vignettes
In the RAW Develop Filter, click on the Lens tab and
click the boxes under the Auto Corrections header. You
can then correct any pin-cushion or barrel distortions with the
Lens Distortion slider. Finally, drag the Amount slider under the
Devignette header to the right to lighten any darkened corners.

Straighten the horizon and continue editing
To finish off your RAW conversion, head to the Transform
tab and find the Rotate slider. Slide this until your horizon
lines up with the grid. Once you’re happy with your shot, you can
save it with File>Export, or add extra Filters to continue editing,

Once you’ve completed your RAW
edit, you can continue fine-tuning
your shot until you’re completely
