Create a dreamy, saturated look
Start by increasing the saturation and brightness of the
warmer colours and vice versa for cool colours. Open
Split Color Warmth filter and slide Warm to 20, and Cool to -20.
Open the Image Radiance filter. Set Amount to 10, Smoothness
to -100 Brightness to 0 and Shadows to 50 for a dreamy look.

Bring back theshadowsand structure
To bring back the shadows,opentheAdvanced
Contrast filter. Move the Highlights Amount to 60,
Midtones to 90 and Shadows to 50. Set the balance as above.
Now open a Microstructure filter and slide the Amount slider to
15 to bring back some more details.

Finally, open a Color Balance filter and set the valuesas
above, or to values that work for your scene. Then add
an Orton Effect filter. Choose Type 1, set the Amount to 10 and
Softness to 40. Once you’re happy with the look of your image,
cl ick Save Luminar Look to create your own preset.

Once you’ve created and saved your Look, you’re free to
apply it to any image you like in a one-click effect. However,
not all images are created equal, so after applying the Look,
you can open up the individual filters used and adjust the
sliders to better suit your shots. Luminar makes fine-tuning
very simple, so take full advantage of it.I use Luminar because it offers some unique
filters that Adobe doesn’t. With these filters
I can bring my processing to another level.
I don’t necessarily consider it a full replacement for the
range of Adobe tools, but instead, I see it as more of an
essential supplement of every photographer’s processing
workflow. It definitely helps me create my unique style,
for which I’m so well known today, and I can’t see myself
