Create a dreamyeffectusingOrton
To soften the image atouchandgivea dreamylook,
I added the Orton Effect filter. I increased the Amount
to 30 and Softness to 25 for a subtle effect. I also lowered the
saturation in the sky using an HSL filter, clicking Saturation and
moving the Blue slider to the left until it looked more natural.

Sit back and let AIdo thehardwork
With the exposure nowcorrected,I wantedto seewhat
Luminar’s AI tools could do. I used the Accent AI 2 and
AI Sky Enhancer filters to increase the impact and drama in the
scene. Dragging the sliders all the way to the right showed me
the effect, and then I dialled them back down to suit my shot.

Use Radial Filters for finishing touches
My last step was to give the mountains a faded look,
adding to the depth of the image. To do this, I addedan
Adjustment Layer, as per Step 2. This time I added a Radial Mask
and dragged it to apply to the mountains only. I then added a
Curves filter with a gentle arching shape to round it off.

DANIEL KORDAN LUMINAR IS

PERFECT FORMY WORKFLOW

I love to use Luminar because it saves me so
much time with fast processing, and gives me the
ability to construct my own signature looks to my
specifications. I’m very lucky and privileged to be able to be
photographing most days of my life, but this does mean that
much of my time is spent traveling from workshop to
workshop. What Luminar does best is it gives me the power
to process my images at airports, in hotels or anywhere else
I find myself, at my own pace during my limited down-time.
It’s processing on the go, but it also packs in the power
and features that mean I never have to compromise, and I
can always achieve the quality that my work is known for.

Above Daniel achieves amazing results using Luminar, with
the flexibility to edit on the go.
