Bangladesh,I wantedto
createsomethingsimple yet
whimsical,somethinglike

a magical forest where fairies
lit little lights to drive out the
darkness. The setup was pretty
simple. I set the focus just on
a single lantern with a trail of
defocused lanterns off into the
background. I took one main
shot with the lantern in focus.
Then I switched to manual to
lock my focus on that spot,
took the lantern and placed
it in several places in the
background, taking a shot each
time. I used a wide aperture to
create some beautiful bokeh.
In Photoshop I combined them
together into one image and
added a dust overlay to give
Nikon a magical look.”
