In this chapter, we’ll walk through the webinar setup.
The first thing we’re going to cover will be the technology used in
running webinars. There are live services and automated services.
We’ll also walk through some ideas on how to get the most signups, get
the best conversion possible for your webinar signup page, reminders
and why they're important, and how you set up the reminders if you are
using automated services—most live services do it pretty well—and we
are also going to talk about putting together the PowerPoint itself.
Like I said earlier, I'm a little bit more Ready, Fire, Aim when it comes to
this stuff. I tend to plan and schedule the webinar before I actually put
together a PowerPoint. You may or may not be that way, but we're going
to walk through the PowerPoint, and the different things you need to
cover in it.
From there, we're going to get into the presentation itself, or the
performance.

Let's talk about live or automated webinar platforms.
Some folks ask, What is the platform? The platform is the software you
use for the webinar itself. It is all hosted. You don’t need to have
anything on your servers, or any of that other stuff, which is nice. It is
