What camera gear did you use to capture this?

Nikon D610, NIKKOR 50mm 1.8G, 1/500sec,

f/1.8, ISO 200.

How did you decide on the composition?

I had a vision of a portrait showing a freckled,

red-haired and intriguing girl. During the

preparation for a photoshoot in the golden hour

I spotted an opportunity to capture this scene

and didn’t hesitate for a second!

What do you like most about the image?

I love how it illustrates that beauty is all about

the imperfections.

Did you do much post-processing?

I did some minimal colour and contrast

adjustments, plus some dodging and burning.
