The Xbox brand has always been very important
to me. The games created by studios like Bungie,
Lionhead Studios, Epic Games or, more recently,
Moon Studios, have forged my character as a
gamer and remain unforgettable. If I have to give
you five of my favourite games, they would have to
be, firstly, Fable and Fable 2 [1], for their beautiful
art direction and their innovative concept of the
choice between good and evil. The next would
be Gears Of War 2 [2] for its story, its nervousness
and its awesome and monstrous big boss battles.
Then, of course, Halo 3 [3]. I do not know if I need
to present this monument of videogames in terms
of gameplay, history, multiplayer and soundtrack
(oh my god, the Halo soundtracks are so epic).
I can’t count the hours I’ve spent playing this
game. Ori And The Blind Forest [4] is possibly one
of the most beautiful and poetic games I’ve ever
played, it contains an avalanche of emotion. Finally,
there’s Cuphead [5], one of the most surprising
games I’ve played, which transports us into an
old cartoon and offers refreshing difficulty. For me,
these games are not only videogames, they tell us
stories and provide us with unforgettable moments
full of emotion. In recent years, Microsoft’s Xbox
has demonstrated its expertise to give us epic
stories and raise videogames to a legendary level.
To be clear, Xbox has always been and will be very
important in my gamer heart, so just one last thing:
thank you Xbox!
