The year 2020 is almost here, and it can’t come
soon enough for us. There’s so much to get excited
for in the coming year if you’re an Xbox gamer, but
we’re just seeing the tip of the iceberg right now. So
as we set sail for those horizons like a super-stoked
Titanic, we have one or two things to tell you about
right here in this month’s Preview section! Crystal
Dynamics’ superhero MMORPG Marvel’s Avengers
is undoubtedly one of next year’s literal big-hitters,
and we have details of a new hero, and the story
direction the game will be taking after A-Day. Find out
just who Kamala Khan is, and why she’s important
on page 24! For racing fans, we have more hands-on
impressions of top-down racer Circuit Superstars on
page 26, and news of twin-stick racer Inertial Drift
over on p29. Young Souls (p27) is a narrative-driven
RPG beat-’em up that we’re liking the look of. Then
we’ve got a completely different beast to tell you
about – a lycanthrope, in fact. We have new details of
tabletop horror RPG adaptation Werewolf: The
Apocalypse – Earthblood , which certainly promises
to be hairy. See page 28! We recently got the
opportunity to check out intriguing-looking combat-
adventure game Unto The End (p30), and we’ve
also squinted through our spyglass to see how pirate
adventure title Atlas (p32) is shaping up.
