next colour with a standing tr in any 2ch-
sp, *21 tr, [2 tr, 2 ch, 2 tr] in 2ch-sp, 21 tr,
1 tr in 2ch-sp. Turn. 48 sts
Row 8 (WS): 3 ch (counts as 1 tr here and
throughout), 2 tr, [1 RtrB, 3 tr] 5 times, 1
RtrB, [2 tr, 2 ch, 2 tr] in 2ch-sp, [1 RtrB, 3
tr] 6 times. Turn. 52 sts
Row 9: 3 ch, [1 RtrF, 3 tr] 6 times, 1 RtrF,

Carefully lay out squares according to
diagram, taking special note of the direction
of each square.
With RS together, join squares with dc
