KNIT FOR PEACE
Many of you may have heard of Knit for
Peace before, but we are such huge
fans of the work the team does that
we wanted to give a little reminder,
particularly as we run up to Christmas!
The lovely folk at Knit for Peace
believe crochet and knitting are good
for people, not just therapeutically,
but as a way to help others in need.
Crafters across the UK are encouraged
to donate knitted items that can then
be distributed to hospitals, women’s
refuges, prisons and community
groups, as well as to those in need in
developing countries. Donations of
yarn and tools are also accepted! Visit
the website and be sure to sign up for
the newsletter so you know exactly
what the team is looking for, and you
will be the first to know about exclusive
knitting holidays in aid of a great cause,
led by favourites such as Juliet Bernard
and Jane Crowfoot!
