last year EA’s premier

shooter has quietly been

impressing. In fact, it has the

best battle royale mode on PS4.

With Chapter 5: War In The Pacific

developer DICE is not only taking us

back to a period of the war we haven’t

experienced since COD: World At War,

it’s also reintroducing Battlefield’s

trademark all-out war, enabling us to

battle online on land, air, and sea.

The two new maps call back to the

series’ PC roots with Iwo Jima and

Pacific Storm. While Iwo Jima offers

beach and close-quarters combat,

Pacific Storm is more dynamic, calling

on you to fight across a series of small

islands in gunboats, fighter planes, and

tanksasyoubattle

against either the US or

Japan forces, as well as

the weather, to take

control points. In

December these maps

will be complemented by

a third, Wake Island.

Vehicles added in this

DLC include the M4

Sherman tank and the

F4U Corsair plane; new

weaponstomanhandle

asBattlePickupsinclude

a flamethrower and a

brutal katana.

DICE will be supporting

Chapter 5 after release

with multiple rewards

dropping, including new

weapons and skins,

soldier sets, and melee

items to draw on the

DLC’s up-close combat.
