heavy attacks, for instance, are
always on the same buttons, but
the combos can be different. You
hold p to aim a ranged attack,

back at the Helicarrier and keep on going. But will you be doing that by continuing the campaign or playing
with friends? And as which hero? The choices never really end.The decommissioned Helicarrier is your base of operations, and you can customise it throughout the game.
Between missions you can tweak your characters’ gear and skills, as well as their cosmetic outfits. To
start a mission you use the Helicarrier’s war table, where you can select missions from across different
regions of the globe (we’ve seen America so far, but Crystal Dynamics teases escapades further afield, as
well as more coming post-launch). So, what do you want to do?Heroes have some powerful
and iconic heroics, like
Iron Man’s unibeam
or Hulk’s thunderclap.KEEP GOING

throughthese,unlockingmoreheroes,

Thesesingle-playermissionsmakebestuse
oftheindividualskillsoftheherothey’re
designedfor,suchasbigareasforIronMan,
orplentyofexcusestoelasticallymovefrom
ledgetoledgeforMs.Marvel.HERO MISSIONS
These missions can be played solo or
online with friends (matchmaking has been
discussed, though without particulars at this
time). You can use any hero you’ve unlocked,
and gear and skills transfer 1:1 between
these and the hero missions, so you’re
always making progress on levelling up your
characters. With up to four players, these are
balanced for everyone, and have both a wide
range of objectives (such as a boss hunt) and
their own story content. For instance, one
might flesh out what Black Widow has been up
