NEEDLES

Circular

In order to work your project

from the top down, you will need

to be using circular needles.

To cast on to circular needles,

simply create a slipknot, then

cast on as you would with

regular knitting needles. Once you

have cast on the desired number

of stitches, make sure your

working yarn is on the right hand

side. If it isn't already, you will

need to turn your work.

SLEEVES

With RS facing, place 47 (49, 53,

55) sts from irst sleeve onto

dpns, join in rnd, pm for beg

of rnd

£ Next rnd: k to end inc (dec,

dec, dec) 1 (1, 1, 3) sts evenly

across rnd. 48 (48, 52, 52) sts

£ Work in k2, p2 rib for 5cm

£ Cast of loosely in rib

LEFT FRONT BAND

£ Using 6mm needle and with

RS facing, pick up and k 90 (90,

94, 94) sts down left front edge

£ Work ten rows in rib as for

Collar

£ Cast of loosely in rib

RIGHT FRONT BAND

£ Using 6mm needles and with

RS facing, pick up and k 90 (90,

94, 94) sts up right front edge

£ Work ive rows in rib as for

Collar

£ Next row (buttonhole): patt 4

(4, 6, 6), yo, work2tog, [patt 14, yo,

work2tog] ive times, patt to end

£ Work four rows more in rib

£ Cast of loosely in rib
