By day she is Purl Jones (owner of your local yarn shop) and by night she is Knit Girl
(a fierce and fabulous force to be reckoned with). When travelling to the Shetland
Islands, Purl came across a croft where an old lady was selling mysterious objects. In
this magical treasure trove Purl found a special yarn that she used to knit a beautiful
cape. As soon as Purl put on the cape, she realised it gave her the power of flight.
She also discovered that her leftover yarn was incredibly strong and could be used
to swing from buildings and tie up baddies! Part one of this pattern includes the
instructions for Purl and her vibrant super hero outfit. Part two will appear in our
January issue and will feature the instructions for Purl’s everyday attire.
