work in st st

£ Row 33: k2tog, k to last two sts,

k2tog. Ten sts

£ Row 34: p2tog, p to last two sts,

Head is sewn from cast-on edge.

Gather up cast on stitches and sew

along row edges to yarn tail. Place

and secure nose and eyes on to

knitted piece before stuing. Turn

right side out and stuf irmly. Place

two Ear pieces together with RS

facing, then sew around ear

leaving a gap, turn RS out and sew

up gap, make other Ear up in same

way. Place Ears on to Head and

sew into position. Pin Head to

Scarf at one end and sew into

place. Fold Collar in half. Sew

cast-on and cast-of edges

together. Place Collar around dog’s

neck and sew into place. All four

Legs are made in same way, place

Leg pieces together with RS facing

and sew around Leg leaving a gap,

turn right side out and sew up gap.

Using black yarn embroider three

claws to each foot. Sew Legs onto

Scarf, two near Head one either

side and two near Tail. Tail is sewn

from yarn tail top down row edges

to cast-on edge on wrong side.

Turn right side out and sew to end

of scarf at opposite end to Head
