This is a great method for
working blocks of colour. Use
a separate ball of yarn for
each colour section on the
row. For example, to begin
the Star chart, you’ll need
three balls of yarn A and
two of yarn B. Start the row with
your first ball of yarn A, then
join in yarn B where instructed.
Twist the strands to avoid
a hole. Continue to use a
new bobbin for each area
of colour. On following
rows, use the correct ball
of yarn for each section.

Using oddment of Black DK,
embroider eyes using large
