TO MAKE UP
Stitch up Body and Head with
seam at centre back. Leave base
open for stuing. Stuf head
section irst, making it a nice round
shape. Continue stuing Body.
Thread a needle with yarn A, then
working on marked row, run a
thread in and out of stitches all
around row to form doll’s neck,
draw this up quite irmly and
secure. Head will appear wobbly at
this stage. Take yarn and needle
and catch Head to Body all around,

great

ADVICE
“Some of the extras
are very small and
the miniature needles
have sharp ends. What’s
more, the beads could be
swallowed by a young
child. Therefore, if you
are knitting for a little
one, it is a good idea to
leave out these elements.”

either side of doll with seams on

underside. Wind lengths of
yarn C around a book or similar
object to give lengths of around
40cm. Take sections of yarn, lay
lat across doll’s head ensuring
two side lengths are equal, and
using yarn C and a tapestry
