HOW TO Set up Medical ID >

HOW TO View more data >

1

Open your profile
On the top right of the app you should
see your profile picture. Tap it to open
your profile. Here you can access your
Medical ID, Health Profile and Privacy
settings (connected apps and settings).
You can also export your medical data.

2

Open your Medical ID
Medical ID will show your date of
birth, basic medical information and
emergency contacts. If you are using
the Health app for the first time, you will
be prompted to enter this info. You can
add/edit details using the Edit option.

3

Add data
You can add data like allergies,
medications and blood group. All of this
data becomes visible when Emergency
SOS is activated, so that first responders
are aware when treating you, and also
know who to contact in an emergency.

1

Select the category
The default view for feedback is for
the current day. You can see a more
in-depth view for each category by simply
tapping on the card and opening it. You
also get more of an explanation of the
metric and suggested third-party apps.

2

View by week, or year
The graph at the top shows you your
progress. From here, you can see what
you’ve achieved that day, as well as
progress over the week, month or year in
a handy bar graph. Above the graph, you
can see your average for that period.

3

Get highlights
Below the graph, Health will give you
Highlights for the category. This breaks
down your data by week, month or year
to show you how much progress you
have made, with a handy graph that
visualises how far you have come.

Cycle and decibel tracking

The new Cycle Tracking feature in Health enables women to track 21 different
aspects of their menstrual health including acne, bloating, fatigue, headache and
mood changes, as well as ovulation test results. The categories can be logged
and viewed from the Apple Watch as well.
The new Noise app tracks decibel levels on the Apple Watch Series 3 or later.
The feature works with headphone audio levels (working best with EarPods,
AirPods and Beats headphones) and environmental sounds.
