HOW TO Get your best face on

1

Find your face
To move between the different face
options, swipe from edge to edge on the
display. When you find one you want to
customise, press and hold on it until the
face gets a little smaller and its name
appears. Tap Customise.

2

Change the colour
The first screen is always for
choosing your colour. Use the Digital
Crown to scroll through the colour
options and see how they look. Once
you’ve chosen your colour, swipe from
the right of the display.

3

Change complications
Tap on any complication – a panel or
icon – you want to change and you’ll see
that it becomes outlined in green. Again,
use the Digital Crown to scroll through
the available options, which can differ
from face to face.

4

Check your colours
Sometimes you’ll find that
complications can be a little too garish.
If you want to tone things down a bit,
swipe from left to right to get back into
the colour scheme selector. Press the
Digital Crown to confirm your changes.

5

Use your iPhone
You can also customise your watch
faces from your iPhone. On your iPhone,
open the Watch app and tap on the name
of your Apple Watch. You should now
see your installed faces in the My Faces
section and you can edit them from here.

6

Edit any face
The iPhone app enables you to
change any Watch face without actually
changing it on your watch, so it’s a good
way to experiment with lots of different
ideas. Tap on a colour to change the
colour scheme.

7

Pick a style
Many faces, such as the Utility face
shown here, have different styles – so
here we’re going for one with slightly
fewer numbers for a cleaner appearance.
The preview image (above the colours)
updates when you tap a style.

8

Change complications
To edit complications, you need to
choose one from the list of complications
and then scroll through the available
options, such as Alarm, Battery, and so
on. Tap on Set As Current Watch Face
to send the changes to your Watch.

9

Wipe your face
If you keep accidentally swiping to
faces you don’t want, you can remove
them by tapping Edit at the top right of
My Faces in the iPhone app. Simply press
the red minus button to delete any faces
that you no longer want.
