The suspended beans or droplet alone would

have made for an enticing photo, but this image

combines the two. The beans were positioned using

wire (which was removed during post-processing)

and the coffee droplet was repeatedly shot until the

desired effect was captured.

Still life doesn’t just require an understanding of

photography; arranging the subject is equally

important, and it’s this that really makes this photo.

The rustic wood complements the rustic produce,

and the folded cloth provides additional interest

and textures to balance the composition.
