Itâs been several years since I read a copy
of House & Home so I was pleased to pick
up the June issue. I enjoy your magazine
from the do-it-yourself projects to the
perfect hamburgers to the interior
design features in between. It has a
quality I canât quite define but am
pleased with.

I indulged in the âsimple pleasuresâ
of Lynda Gardenerâs airy bright and
happy Melbourne-area weekend home
(âIndulging in Simple Pleasuresâ
July). What a wonderful article and
terrific photography especially when
juxtaposed with those endless âcottagesâ
in the Muskokas. Kudos for reaching
into a totally refreshing cottage genre.

Yesterday my neighbour gave me the
June issue of H&H and I was delighted to
read Suzanneâs letter to readers and
see a more relaxed version of the
magazine. I hope the majority of your
loyal fans will be pleased with the
metamorphosis your team envisages.
This edition was a really good read.
â ALENA SCHRAM
I was pleasantly surprised to read
Suzanneâs opinion in âSigns of Lifeâ
(âEditorâs Pageâ June). Itâs so refreshing
to have someone in the profession
mention the lack of personality in
many shelter magazine layouts. The
pages where I find inspiration almost
always have some quirky personal
touch. Thanks for recognizing this and
putting your words into action with
House & Home.
