Deck the halls
Focus on a few oversized decorations,
which may be simple but will instantly
transform your space. Paper stars,
honeycomb balls and garlands look
brilliant hung in a window or over
a dining table, while a line of large
white pillar candles make a statement
on a mantelpiece. Create clusters on low
tables, using platters of nuts or candied
peel alongside candles of different
heights and Nordic knick-knacks (think
wooden reindeer or sparkly trees), for
a witty but elegant way to entertain.
