ARIELA ROBINSON (3)

(^54) Animal (^) Tales
Animal Advocate

A

riela Robinson already knows what she wants
to do when she grows up. “I want to open
my own animal rescue business that saves
all different kinds of animals,” the California native tells
Animal Tales. She wants it to have a special grooming
center, a hotel, an adoption center and so much more.
And she knows where all of the money will go, too: “to
help save more pets!” The tween still has a few more
years before she can make all of that a reality, but she’s
getting great experience now. Read on to find out more
about the work she does with local animal rescues and
how she organizes adoption events of her own!

She wants to find every

pet a loving home!

AT:Hi,Ariela!We knowyou’re a big
animallover, butwhat madeyou take
actiontohelpthem?
AR: I started adopting pets when I was 3 years
old, and that helped me realized that animals
are living things who deserve a happy life. They
should be treated with respect and love, just
like people. It’s so sad to see them in a shelter,
so my goal is for them to have a happy life with
a good family.
AT : How did you start volunteering?
AR: My mom would help me find local
organizations. For many of them, I had to do
long orientations and trainings, but it was
really fun and interesting.

“I organize pet

adoption events!”

Meet 12-year-old Ariela:

“I volunteer with animals
whenever I have free
time,” Ariela informs AT.
“Usually, it’s after I do my
homework, on weekends
and school breaks.”
