My cat never
meows. Is that
normal?
— LINDSEY, 10, FL

Eating grass can be normal for
some dogs. Your guess is as good
as mine as to why they do this!
Sometimes, dogs who have an
upset tummy will eat grass to help
them feel better.

Thanks for your question, Ryder! It canbe
normal to have clear water run from your
pet’s nose. Dogs can’t sweat so they use
their nose to evaporate
heat! If it’s thick or
colored,thatisn’t
normalandI
recommend
you take
your dogto
a vet.

Yes, that can be totally
normal! Some cats are
vocal, whereas other cats
are quiet (just like different
personalities in humans!).
Cats can meow for
a variety of reasons,
including asking for food,
attention or stress. The
fact that your cat doesn’t
meow could mean all of
its needs are being met!
