sides has been tasked with cre-
ating the next iconic ship design
for the Star Wars universe.This collaboration comes as each
celebrates a seminal moment
in their respective histories. A
moment that, coincidentally, or,
if you’ve been reading, expect-
edly, arrives at the exact same
time: December 2019.For Lucasfilm, it’s the highly
anticipated release of Star
Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,
which marks the culmination
of the epic nine-film story arc
of the Skywalker family. The
very same week, nearly to the
day, the all-new, fully electric
Porsche Taycan will arrive in the
U.S., marking the dawn of a new
generation for Porsche.There is no telling what this
special collaboration, one liter-
ally decades in the making, will
yield. But if history is any indi-
