The Archers:what happened last week
Jim worries about what to play at Joe’s wake. Making himself at home at Eddie and Clarrie’s, Alf is
already ruffling feathers, borrowing money and making insensitive remarks. At The Bull, Alf chats
to Toby and stirs up gossip about Oliver and Tracy. Joy goes to Bridge Farm on the search for
missing Hilda, withabarmy plan. David and Adam meet in The Bull to prepare for their meeting
with Vince Casey, but Casey turns up, ambushing them with questions. Elizabeth talks to Russ
about her recovery and plans for the Christmas show. As rumours spread about Tracy and Oliver,
Tracy’s motives are called into question. David tells Oliver about Casey taking Hassett Hills’ lamb.
Elizabeth reveals to an embarrassed Oliver that people are starting to talk. Alice and Peggy discuss
the rewilding project. Kate tells Alice it’s off with Jakob, but Alice isn’t convinced. Hilda returns and
gives birth to kittens. To Oliver’s horror, Tracy is amused by the gossip and calls him disloyal.
Clearing out Joe’s room, Eddie and Alf find an intriguing letter from someone called Carmen.
