I’d like to introduce a special
part of the UK to you: the
NC500, or North Coast 500, in
Scotland. This 500-mile route
has so many spots with overwhelming
and, at times, breathtaking views that
everybody should know about it. Al-
though the weather in Scotland can be
interesting (as they say, “If you don’t like
the weather, wait five minutes”), this part
of the UK as well as the Highlands are al-
ways worth exploring on holiday. And
to top it off, there are other stops on the
Isle of Skye and at Loch Lo-
mond. All these points are
worth a visit as well as
a report. My favourite
holiday destination
is the UK, especial-
ly Scotland. Because
my husband owns
two plots of land in the
Highlands (Highland Titles
Nature Reserve), we plan to visit the re-
gion and take a guided tour. We are so

proud to be part of their mission: to fund
the creation of multiple nature reserves
throughout Scotland. It’s a mission that
deserves our support.

Peggy’s Cove, a tiny fishing
village located just 40 kilo-
metres from Halifax on
Canada’s east coast,
is a photographer’s paradise.
It is a famous Nova Sco-
tian landmark not to be
missed. There is a lot
to see and explore, but
the main attraction is
certainly Peggy’s Point
Lighthouse, perched on
top of the rocks. There
are also small gift shops
and nice little restaurants
where they serve delicious
fresh lobster rolls. If you climb the
massive rocks, you will get a wonderful
view of the sea and the rolling waves; but
be careful: the rocks can be slippery. It is
easy to get there from downtown Halifax
— you either rent a car or go by bus. Peg-
gy’s Cove is incredibly idyllic and roman-
tic; it looks like a postcard come to life.
