magazine – all the articles and
especially the illustrations – it's
something to hold onto for those
occasional rainy days. Also, I
abhor those glossy magazines as
I’m aware how much they pollute
our environment, and worms in
my compost heap won’t touch
them – that says a lot! Looking
forward to the next time I see
your magazine in the shop.

Good timing
I’m loving the fact I had your
Summer Mindful Activity Book
from issue 2 7 to pass the time at
the airport while I waited four
hours for my flight! I absolutely
love In The Moment, it found me
nearly two years ago when I was
facing one of the toughest times
in my life and I feel a huge
moment of joy every time the
new issue lands on my doormat.

Home grown
Your recipe for blackberry and
apple pie kombucha sounds
and looks delicious. And, as luck
would have it, I have apples and
blackberries from my lovely
garden – I’ve been meaning to
have a go at making kombucha
and now there’s no excuses.

Back to school
Hannah Bullivant’s column in
issue 2 9 was perfectly timed for
me. I’d been reviewing my 2019
goals and feeling a little
despondent at my (lack of)

progress as the year was passing
by. But this article rekindled
happy memories of new school
years, fresh mornings with
the first hint of autumn chill in
the air and yes, new stationery.
It made me stop and begin to
consider September instead as
a brand new term, full of new
opportunities to get to where I’d
like to be. I now have a shiny new
notebook and pencil case and am
re-energised for the rest of the
year and beyond!

Reading for wellbeing
I have made a conscious effort
to read more. It is so great for
relaxing the nervous system and
helping us have restful moments.
At night I read my book and
during the day I have chosen
In The Moment.

A fresh approach
Just a quick note to say thank
you – I found In The Moment via
social media and it is unlike any
magazine I have read previously.
I feel noticeably more settled as
a result of 20 minutes in your
company. I look forward to seeing
what’s to come in future issues.
Niki Sykes, via email

Good mornings
The morning rituals from
In The Moment and weekly
planning for the week ahead help
me to stay motivated and my mind
feels that bit freer. There is no
better way to start the day than
with mindful appreciation
and reflection.
