FRUIT AND VEGETABLES 85
▶
Fruit is a good source of water,
fibre, and vitamins, and the
natural sugars that give us a burst of energy. Many also supply antioxidants, which
can reduce the risk of some
diseases. Vegetables contain vitamins and minerals and are a good source of fibre. Nutritionists recommend
we eat at least five
portions of fruit and
vegetables daily.

Bran cereals are rich in fibre, which helps to make digestion more efficient
Orange, red, and green, peppers are
all excellent sources of vitamins
