We’ll admit that real life can occasionally

be more interesting than lamé. But

Diana clearly hadn’t bargained for one

of the new season’s sweetie-wrapper

shiny, limelight-stealing numbers, each

boasting more personality than a room

full of rock stars. Imagine, for instance,

telling Attico’s disco-pink column dress

that you’re “just too tired” to venture out.

And won’t those dazzling rhinestone-

fringed sandals feel miffed if you don’t

take them for a test drive? This winter,

the dress is the party. Heads up: they won’t

take “maybe next time” for an answer. EP
