We particularly love Kate’s use of color and the hand-drawn feeling
of her illustrations—sometimes it seems like the paint is still wet.
Kate used to live in Chicago, US, and Lake Michigan was her
source of inspiration, but now she lives in the creative city of
Portland in Oregon, not far from the American West Coast.
Her sources of inspiration these days are: summer, sea, relaxation
and the beauty of nature.
