Luxury Developments

SOUTH

In Florida, developer Consultatio USA is behind a new
development at what was once the Bal Harbour Club.
Oceana Bal Harbour, a condo project, features flow-
through residences and unobstructed ocean and city
views. It offers a full menu of resort-style amenities that
allow residents to custom build a round-the-clock five-
star resort experience.
Residences feature unobstructed intracoastal water
views to the west and Atlantic Ocean views to the east. The
top three floors feature four penthouses and three duplex
upper penthouses with large private balconies and pri-
vate elevators that open directly into the residences.
“We built a tower parallel to the ocean rather than per-
pendicular to it,” says Ernesto Cohan, director of sales for
the property, “so as not to compromise the views. The
units are designed with a flow-through plan to give you
water, sunrise and sunset.”
All kitchens feature imported exotic stone countertops,
custom-designed cabinetry, a chef’s island complete with
oversized cooktop, the latest downdraft ventilation sys-
tem and stainless steel undermount sinks with a courtesy
cooking pot-filler faucet. The appliance center includes a
double oven, cappuccino maker, microwave, concealed
dishwasher with dish drawer, 54-inch refrigerator/freezer
combo and two-zone gourmet wine cellar that can ac-
commodate more than 70 bottles.

“The building was based on two primary ideas,” Cohan
explains. “One was the art component of the building, in-
cluding two sculptures by Jeff Koons that we own and oth-
er impressive artwork in the lobby. The other idea was to
provide residents with the lifestyle of a luxury hotel with-
out the hotel component.”
He says the entrance area of the building is “like an art
collector’s living room,” and most of the residential units
offer more than 3,000 square feet of living space. The in-
ternational demographic of the residents creates “quite a
U.N. altogether,” Cohan says.

FOUR SEASONS COMES TO FORT LAUDERDALE

One of the most exciting developments currently in
the sales process is a Four Seasons property located at
525 North Fort Lauderdale Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale.
The Four Seasons Private Residences, which range in
size from one to four bedrooms, are part of a spectacular
condo/hotel building. They offer expansive living spaces
with interiors featuring lavish amounts of natural light
and generous outdoor terraces with panoramas of the
Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. The 42
Private Residences, which range from 780 to more than
6,000 square feet, offer options for flexibility and will be
delivered decorator-ready.
