London Fashion Week’s sparkling

and spectacular soirées

While the daytime during London Fashion Week was

devoted to shows, meetings and presentations, the evenings

were reserved for festivities. Jessica McCormack and Bella

Freud toasted Gabriela Hearst’s new flagship store on Brook

Street with mezcal spritzes before joining the chic crowd for

an after party at Claridge’s. Later in the week, a constellation

of film stars including Lily James, Carey Mulligan and

Lucy Boynton descended on Camden Roundhouse for a

scinti llating g a la dinner hosted by Bu lg a r i to launch its new

‘Serpenti’ watch. Acrobats twirled overhead as lobster was

served, before Ellie Goulding took to the stage to sing.

Meanwhile, in Mayfair, Victoria Beckham had invited

friends and family to Harry’s Bar to celebrate her S/S 20

collection over a convivial Italian supper of burrata, porcini

mushroom risotto and bitter chocolate sorbet.
