HIDDEN DRAGON
Prior to 1974 Bhutan was closed to the outside world. And until recently its rural farmhouses remained relatively
unknown too â that is before a photographer stumbled across them while on assignment for Vogue. Focusing
on one such secluded subject he reveals the blazing murals and Buddhist altar rooms that mimic the countryâs
extravagant temples while Robin Muir explains the allure of this Himalayan kingdom. Photography: Tim Walker
