points of Londonâs 32
boroughs (see p36). Did
I want to arrange a sister
event in Edinburgh my
home city? And so the
Edinburgh Peaks came
into being â a run
connecting the tops
of 17 city council wards
beginning in the south-
west Pentlands on East
Cairn Hill (567m) and
culminating under the
Forth Rail Bridge in South
Queensferry 49 miles
away. Hereâs the view
across to Arthurâs Seat
(251m) the ninth summit.â
