Money Talks
Film is still “a hit-driven
business,” Scott Stuber (8)
told THR’s Stephen
Galloway as part of the
Netflix exec’s keynote Q&A
at THR’s Power Business
Managers breakfast. The
ninth annual gathering —
held at Cut with presenting
sponsor City National Bank
and sponsor ISAIA — feted
Hollywood’s top money
managers and honored
Lou Taylor (1), who was
presented the Business
Manager Icon award by her
client Priyanka Chopra
Jonas (1). — ASHLEY CULLINS

Stylish Soiree
THR and Brunello Cucinelli
hosted the Power of Style
party, celebrating the pros
who help suit up some of
Hollywood’s biggest execs
and stars. Stylists including
Negar Ali Kline (12), Dana
Asher Levine (14), Andrea
Lublin and Tanya Gill (16)
were on hand at the event,
held at Brunello Cucinelli’s
private showroom,
as their clients sang their
praises and previewed
the brand’s awards sea-
son looks. — KIRSTEN CHUBA

Worldly Women
“Stories like his have
opened the door for us,”
said Surviving R. Kelly
executive producer Brie
Miranda Bryant (17) of the
documentary series’ impact
at A+E Networks during
THR’s annual Women in
Global Entertainment lunch
at MIPCOM. The event at
the Hotel Majestic brought
together production power
players including eOne
TV’s Jocelyn Hamilton
and StudioCanal TV’s
Rola Bauer. THR’s Marisa
Guthrie (17) moderated
a panel with Bryant and
co-executive producer
Dream Hampton (17), who
discussed getting the story
to the screen after years
of silence about Kelly’s
alleged crimes. “We never
imagined that we’d be
sitting at MIP opening up a
conversation about sexual
violence worldwide,” said
Hampton. — RHONDA RICHFORD
