birth of her third child. She

suff ered from the conditi on

aft er the arrival of her fi rst

two children, Ever Imrie, and

Onyx Solace, and confessed

she is struggling again following the birth of her

son Winter Mercy in August, in a candid blog

post recently. Alanis wrote that there are ‘many

tentacles’ to her experience and added she is

struggling with ‘sleep deprivati on’, ‘fogginess’,

‘physical pain’, ‘isolati on’ and ‘anxiety’. The

star went on to explain, “PPD (postpartum

depression) is sti ll a sneaky monkey with a

machete-working its way through my psyche

and body and days and thoughts and bloodwork

levels.”
