his summer, Gensler launched its newest
practice, Intelligent Places, which was in
development for a year and whose focus is
the application of data and visual services to
connect design and business results.
HMC Architects is building a data ware-
house as part of a network to distribute
content throughout the fi rm. So far, HMC has
fi nalized the selection of servers. In phase two, the fi rm
will put all three of its practices onto the network. An
R&D component will be added in phase three.
In line with its repositioning around innovation and
